1. Service Description

BirdiePing monitors golf course booking platforms and sends you notifications when tee times matching your preferences become available. For supported courses, BirdiePing can also automatically book tee times on your behalf using the Auto-Book feature.

2. Auto-Booking Service

When you enable Auto-Book on a watch, BirdiePing will attempt to automatically reserve tee times at supported courses when availability matches your preferences.

Account creation: To facilitate bookings, BirdiePing may create an account on your behalf with third-party booking platforms (such as Chronogolf/Lightspeed Golf) using your BirdiePing registration information (name and email). By enabling Auto-Book, you consent to this account creation.
Best effort: Auto-booking is provided on a best-effort basis. Tee times may be taken by others before our system can complete the booking. BirdiePing does not guarantee any booking will succeed.
Cancellation: You are responsible for canceling any auto-booked tee times you cannot attend. Cancellation policies are set by the individual course, not BirdiePing.
No-shows: Repeated no-shows to auto-booked tee times may result in the Auto-Book feature being disabled on your account.
Payment at course: Most courses collect payment at check-in. Some courses may require payment at time of booking. BirdiePing will notify you if a booking cannot be completed due to payment requirements.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

BirdiePing offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use BirdiePing to resell or scalp tee times
Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
Attempt to reverse-engineer our scraping technology
Use the service for any unlawful purpose

6. SMS Messaging

BirdiePing offers optional SMS text message alerts. By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages regarding tee time availability.

Message types: Tee time alerts, group rally invitations, booking confirmations, and service notifications.
Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your active watches and tee time availability. You control your alert settings.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any BirdiePing message to unsubscribe from all SMS communications. You will receive a one-time confirmation. You may also disable SMS in your account settings.
Help: Reply HELP for support information.
Costs: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
No SMS required: SMS alerts are optional. The service works with email-only alerts on all plans.
Consent: Your consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase. You can use BirdiePing without SMS.
Privacy: Your phone number will not be sold to or shared with third parties for promotional purposes.

7. Accuracy & Availability

BirdiePing relies on third-party booking platforms. We make no guarantee that tee time data is 100% accurate or that alerts will be delivered instantaneously. Tee times may be booked by others before you can act on an alert.

8. Limitation of Liability

BirdiePing is provided "as is." We are not liable for missed tee times, inaccurate data, or any damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
